Veterans Day is approaching, and the City of Austin has shared important information regarding trash and recycling services for the holiday.

Curbside collections will follow the regular schedule. Residents can check their specific collection days using the Austin Recycles app or by visiting AustinTexas.gov/MySchedule.

The Recycle & Reuse Drop-off Center will be closed in observance of the holiday.

For those needing to dispose of yard trimmings and large brush, the Hornsby Bend Biosolids Management Plant, managed by Austin Water, will be open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Additional information can be found at AustinTexas.gov/BrushDropOff.
