**Bend Fire & Rescue Welcomes New Fire Inspector, Kasey**

Bend, Oregon — Bend Fire & Rescue has announced the addition of their new fire inspector, Kasey, who brings 17 years of experience in the fire service. Her career began as a volunteer firefighter before she transitioned into fire prevention roles.

Kasey explained her motivation for focusing on fire prevention, saying it enables her to enhance building safety for both community members and emergency responders.

In addition to her work, Kasey is committed to encouraging women to join the fire service. She volunteers with the Northwest Fire Diversity Council and Global Mission Readiness, where she teaches fire prevention strategies throughout the Pacific Northwest and beyond.

A native of Oregon, Kasey enjoys spending time with her family and dog, traveling, and engaging in outdoor activities like golf. She is thrilled to call Central Oregon her new home and looks forward to contributing to the community as part of Bend Fire & Rescue.
