**Austin Resource Recovery Suspends Services Due to Winter Weather**
Austin, Texas – Winter weather conditions have prompted Austin Resource Recovery to suspend all waste collection services for Tuesday, January 21. Affected services include trash, recycling, composting, as well as on-demand bulk, brush, and household hazardous waste collections.
Residents are advised to leave any uncollected carts and materials at their usual collection points to allow crews to catch up on missed pickups throughout the week. For real-time updates and notifications about service changes, customers can use the Austin Recycles app or sign up for reminders through the city's official website at austintexas.gov/myschedule.
Additionally, the Recycle and Reuse Drop-off Center and Austin Water’s Hornsby Bend Biosolids Management Plant, located at 2210 FM 973, will also remain closed for the day due to the weather.
