Several members of the Fayetteville Fire Department are attending the North American Water Rescue Conference in South Bend, Indiana, according to a department Facebook post.

The department said the specialized training gives members the chance to learn and hone their skills while working with water rescue teams from across the county. It added that members will bring that knowledge back to provide service to residents and visitors of Fayetteville, as well as the North Carolina Rescue Task Force.

The post thanked the members for their work and shared related hashtags.
