Scranton Fire Dept Boosts Water Rescue Capabilities
The City of Scranton Fire Department sent Lieutenant Jesse Creegan from Engine 7 and Chauffeur Erik Wells from Rescue 1 to the North American Water Rescue Conference in Great Bend, Indiana. The event was hosted by the International Association of Water Rescue Professionals and provided participants the opportunity to practice water rescue skills in a real-world setting. The conference also offered sessions on best practices, leadership skills, and advancements in water rescue. The training aims to enhance the ability of the department to serve Scranton and surrounding communities during emergencies.
