Tempe Community Action has been named a finalist for Non-Profit of the Year by the Tempe Chamber of Commerce. The organization stated that the recognition reflects its mission to provide shelter, nourishment, and support to its neighbors. The announcement comes as Tempe prepares for a celebration on June 20, which will highlight the work of various organizations throughout the city.

In addition, the Tempe Chamber of Commerce has recognized winners for the 2025 Business Excellence Awards in the Cool Place to Work category. The winners include Arizona Theatre Company, Big-D Construction Southwest, Downtown Tempe Authority, Legoland Discovery Center AZ, Northbend, Offer Pad, Sentient Tattoo Collective, Taco Chelo Tempe, and The Spaghetti Shack.
