Torrisi Father/Son Clinch Summer Slam Title

The Scranton Canoe Club in Lake Winola, Pennsylvania, has announced the results of the Summer Slam 2025 competition. The championship title in the Championship Flight was won by the father/son team of Dave and Matt Torrisi, who posted a winning score of 58.

Other pairs in the Championship Flight included Corey Cuneo paired with Bobby Galdieri and Chris Cuneo paired with Eric Parry, both teams recording a score of 59 with a Margin of Contest (MOC).

In the First Flight, the team of Ryne Luce and Josh Johnson tied with Carmen Caputo and Ryan Yarmel at 63 MOC, while the team of Kevin Bender and Bill Bender II earned a score of 65.

In the Second Flight, Bruce Cizik paired with Bob Jenkins and Joe Barrett paired with Joe Joyce both concluded their rounds with a score of 70 MOC, with the team of Jim King and Wally Pilger scoring 71.

The event organizers thanked all participants for their involvement.
