The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville will display collaborative quilts created by high school art students until March 2026. The exhibition, titled A Community of Artists, features work by students from Hume-Fogg, Hunters Lane, James Lawson, and Pearl-Cohn high schools, in partnership with nonprofit Smart Art + Craft Supplies. The quilts are inspired by the Gee’s Bend quilters, a group from Alabama whose work dates back to the 19th century and whose legacy is linked to enslaved people from the Joseph Gee cotton plantation.
