**Red Newt Cellars Announces Winemakers' Dinner in March 2025**
Hector, NY – Red Newt Cellars Winery & Bistro will host its annual Winemakers' Dinner on Friday, March 14, 2025, at their location in the Finger Lakes region. The event will feature a specially curated four-course meal with wine pairings, prepared with the involvement of winemakers David and Christina.
Attendees will enjoy a culinary experience that includes the following courses:
- **First Course:** Roasted carrot and shallot soup with curry cream, paired with a 2018 Gewürztraminer from the Curry Creek collection.
- **Salad Course:** Crispy Brussels sprouts tossed with cranberries, bacon, and apple cider vinaigrette, served with a 2014 Pinot Gris from the Curry Creek Vineyard.
- **Intermezzo:** A refreshing cranberry-Riesling sorbet to cleanse the palate.
- **Main Course:** Bacon-wrapped pork tenderloin stuffed with apples, dried currants, and onion jam, complemented by crispy potatoes and a Hellbender-balsamic reduction. This dish will be paired with a 2023 Cabernet Franc and a 2017 skin-fermented Riesling, both from the Glacier Ridge Vineyard.
- **Dessert:** Irish cream cheesecake, accompanied by a 2017 Noble Dry Riesling from Tango Oaks.
The event captures a touch of St. Patrick’s Day spirit, complete with themed decorations. Tickets are priced at $125 per person, plus tax, with a discounted rate of $100 per person, plus tax, for Red Newt Wine Club members. Seats can be reserved through the winery's website.
