Phil posts Punta Cana selfie after departing PHL
PHILADELPHIA — Phil has posted a selfie from Punta Cana after being seen departing Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) and issuing a statement acknowledging backlash.
The image shows him beachside in Punta Cana, holding a piña colada served in a freshly cut pineapple, with an umbrella and a bendy straw.
Sources confirm that he has seen the current snow totals and all the complaints about snow online. He remains unbothered.
There are no indications of an early return at this time.
In a post dated 9:00 a.m. Feb. 23, 2026, he referenced a blizzard in Philadelphia and wrote: "I hear it’s a full-on blizzard in Philly.
