**Bend Tech Academy Students Participate in Disaster Drill**

Bend, Oregon – Bend Tech Academy (BTA) students showcased their preparedness and emergency response skills during a recent simulated disaster drill held before the holiday break. The drill was part of the Medical/Health Academy program, led by instructor Dr. Marty Codino.

Through this program, students are trained in essential life-saving techniques, including CPR, First Aid, and basic life support skills. The simulation offered a hands-on opportunity for students to practice these critical skills in a controlled environment, reinforcing their training for real-world situations.

The disaster drill is part of BTA's ongoing efforts to equip students with practical knowledge and abilities that may prove valuable in emergencies. The program highlights the importance of preparing young individuals to respond effectively in crisis situations.

The Medical/Health Academy at Bend Tech Academy is helping students develop both confidence and competence in medical response, ensuring they are ready to assist when needed. This focused training not only benefits the students personally but also prepares them to contribute to their communities in meaningful ways.
