**Bend Fire & Rescue Hiring Ambulance Operators**

Bend Fire & Rescue in Bend, Oregon, is currently hiring Ambulance Operators as part of its Ambulance Operator Program. This position offers a chance for first responders to gain hands-on experience in the fire service, particularly by responding to Basic Life Support (BLS) calls within the department's service area.

The program not only provides real-world experience but also serves as a stepping stone for many who later advance to roles such as firefighter/paramedics.
