**Houston Community College Highlights Student Achievements and Community Programs**

Today’s edition of "Up To The Minute" at Houston Community College (HCC) features Abby Yadan, a student from the VAST Academy who has been cast in the musical “Frozen.” Abby has also participated in productions such as “Beauty and the Beast” and “Sleeping Beauty.” Dina Webster, the program manager for HCC’s VAST Academy, noted that Abby’s theater experiences contribute positively to her academic performance.

Additionally, Courtney Grigsby, the program manager for Fort Bend County Farms & Garden, discussed the weekly U-Pick Program at the community garden, which allows guests to hand-pick fresh collards, mustards, and radishes in collaboration with Lucille’s 1913.
