Staff Report / Bendlocal.org

Bend Senior High School in Bend, Oregon, recently expressed relief that its grand piano, a valuable part of the music program, was saved during the emergency demolition of the auditorium this past summer. The piano has now been relocated back to the choir room and is in use once again.

The successful recovery of the piano was made possible by the efforts of the general contractor, Kirby Nagelhout Construction Co. The company took special measures to ensure that the piano was removed from the demolition zone without sustaining any damage.
