Youth Basketball League Registration Opens October 7

The City of Atlanta's Department of Parks and Recreation is offering a Youth Basketball League for girls and boys aged 5 to 17. The league aims to promote physical fitness and provides a safe and structured environment for children to engage in organized sports, focusing on skill development and team-building.

Registration for the league begins on October 7, with the season and practices starting on November 12. The fee to participate is $75 for residents and $150 for non-residents.

Several community centers are participating in this program, including Adams, Anderson (PAL), Anthony Flanagan, Bessie Branham, Collier Park, Coan, C.T. Martin, Dunbar, Grant, Grove, M.L. King, Jr., Pittman, Peachtree Hills, Rosel Fann, Southbend, Thomasville, and William Walker.
