The Geneva Firefighters are hosting an open house and demonstration during Fire Prevention Week. The event will take place on Tuesday, October 8th, from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM at 79 Geneva Street.

Activities planned for the evening include fire extinguisher training, a crawl through a smoke house, a demonstration of the Jaws of Life, and opportunities to spray fire hoses. Attendees will also be able to try out various tools and equipment, walk through fire trucks, and watch a CPR and medical equipment demonstration. A live burn demonstration is also scheduled.

Families are encouraged to attend as the event is designed to be fun for all ages. Free food, snacks, and refreshments will be provided.
