Willowdale Bend shared an update about their dog, Winifred, on Facebook, highlighting her impressive instincts and training. Winifred is anticipated to join Willowdale full time soon. Her nightly routine includes inspecting every room of the house while everyone sleeps. She is quick to respond to any disturbances and is adjusting well to her environment, including nearby bison.

Winifred is learning which animals require her protection and has begun marking areas around the perimeter with her scent to deter potential predators. She enjoys sitting and barking at dusk as a warning signal, and her owners find her bark pleasant and deep. Additionally, they expressed gratitude for new memorial fencing that will ensure Winifred can do her job effectively and safely.
