Campers at the North Port Parks & Rec camp have been enjoying themed weeks full of activities and adventures. During "Nature Explorers" week, they learned about environmental sustainability, species detection, and arbor exploration with visits from The City of North Port's Natural Resources Division. They also visited Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium and The Gallery at North Port. The following week's theme was "Passport to Adventure" where campers traveled around the world through games and excursions, including an Italian excursion at The Gallery of North Port and a visit to The Bishop Museum of Science and Nature. Next week's theme is "Art Innovations."
