Bend Fire & Rescue in Bend, Oregon has announced that May is recognized as national Stop the Bleed Month. The fire department emphasizes the importance of early bystander support in saving lives during emergencies with severe bleeding. Residents are encouraged to attend one of the free upcoming community training events to learn how to help stop the bleed.
