Lackawanna County’s Bookmobile Schedule Announced

The Lackawanna County Library System has released the schedule for its Bookmobile stops. On Monday, December 8, the Bookmobile will visit four locations: North Pocono Senior Center from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.; Lutherwood from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.; Dunmore Community Center from 1:15 p.m. to 2:15 p.m.; and Green Ridge Apartments from 2:30 p.m. to 3 p.m.

On Tuesday, December 9, the Bookmobile will make additional stops. The schedule includes Hillside Senior Community Center from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.; Geneva House from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.; Our Lade of Peace from 1:15 p.m. to 2:15 p.m.; and Tall Trees Apartment from 2:30 p.m. to 3:15 p.m.

The announcement also lists stops for dates in November. On Wednesday, November 12, the Bookmobile will stop at Gino Merli Veterans Center from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.; Throop Civic Center from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.; Russell Park Development from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.; and Canaan Street Development from 2:15 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. On Thursday, November 13, it will visit Bucktown Center Apartments from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., Everhard Museum from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and Academy II.

Community members are encouraged to stop by to say hello during these scheduled visits.
