**Student Organization Focuses on Building Connections in Bend-La Pine Schools**
In an effort to foster connection and reduce youth suicide, the student-led organization "Sources of Strength" is actively engaging with high schools in Bend-La Pine Schools, located in Bend, Oregon. The program, emphasizing the theme "Better Together" this year, aims to create a sense of belonging among students.
Recently, on a sunny day at Aspen Hall, students participated in a retreat to plan programming designed to support their peers. The event was organized and led by a dedicated team from Bend Tech Academy. These students are working to strengthen community and belonging within their schools under the guidance of Sources of Strength.
The organization continues to focus on its mission of promoting mental health and building strong relationships among youth in the area.
