**Wake County Planners Seek Input for Eastern Wake Area Plan**

Wake County, North Carolina – Residents, workers, and visitors in the Eastern Wake area are invited to help shape the future of the northeastern portion of Wake County. The region, bordered by Johnston, Nash, and Franklin counties, is the focus of the new Eastern Wake Area Plan, being developed by local planners.

This planning process aims to envision the future of the area’s built environment, including homes, buildings, streets, open spaces, farms, and infrastructure. Wake County government is seeking community input to determine how the region will grow and develop.

Community members can participate in several ways:

- Share their ideas using an interactive online map.

- Complete a survey to provide feedback.

- Attend a virtual meeting on March 6.

For full details about how to get involved, visit the official planning website at wake.gov/EW. Wake County planners encourage everyone in the area to share their thoughts to help shape the vision for the future.
