**Anderson Mill Students Celebrate Black History Month with Educational Program**

Students at Anderson Mill are taking the lead in sharing impactful stories about influential African Americans as part of the school’s morning news show. During today’s segment, the students highlighted the life and legacy of Maya Angelou, a renowned poet and author whose works continue to inspire people across generations.

The project allows students to actively participate by creating and delivering “Black History Month moments,” which focus on notable historical figures and their contributions to society. The initiative aims to educate and engage students while recognizing the achievements of trailblazers who have shaped history.
