**Winter Weather Advisory in Effect for Parts of New York and Pennsylvania**

The National Weather Service in Binghamton, NY, has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for multiple counties in New York and Pennsylvania, effective as of February 2 at 1:45 PM EST. The advisory will remain in place until February 3 at 5:00 AM EST.

Mixed precipitation is expected in the affected areas, with total snowfall accumulations ranging between 1 and 3 inches. Ice accumulation is anticipated to be minimal, with localized areas of higher elevations in Central New York and Oneida County potentially receiving up to 4 inches of snow. Pockets of freezing rain or sleet may occur briefly in some areas.

- **New York:** Broome, Chenango, Cortland, Delaware, Madison, Northern Oneida, Onondaga, Otsego, Southern Cayuga, Southern Oneida, Sullivan, Tioga, and Tompkins.

- **Pennsylvania:** Northern Wayne County.

Snowfall is expected to begin late afternoon or early evening today, continuing into the evening hours. Snow will taper off by pre-dawn hours Monday, with patchy freezing drizzle and flurries possible.
