**City of Bend Encourages Residents to Participate in Emergency Preparedness Survey**

The City of Bend, Oregon, is seeking input from residents on their readiness for emergencies, such as wildfires, through an Emergency Preparedness Survey. Bend Fire & Rescue emphasizes the importance of preparedness due to the city’s location among nature and the growing potential for natural disasters in Central Oregon.

City Council has prioritized planning for large-scale emergencies, with a focus on increasing the city's resilience. Officials are hoping to learn more about the community’s level of preparedness and gather ideas to enhance response efforts.

Residents have until the end of Friday, January 31, to complete the survey. The City of Bend urges the community to dedicate five minutes to provide critical feedback. The input will be used to guide strategies in disaster preparation and resilience-building efforts.
