**Family Spotlight Update Highlights Key School Events**

**Bend, Oregon** – Bend-La Pine Schools has published its latest "Family Spotlight," an informational resource for families. The January 22, 2025, issue emphasizes key activities and achievements for students and parents to note as the first semester ends.

In this edition, the district provides a guide for parents and students on reviewing first semester grades effectively. With an eye on the future, the update also highlights preparations for forecasting at the upcoming Academic Information Night.

Additionally, the newsletter celebrates an inspiring achievement—an 8th grader has been recognized with the prestigious "Above & Beyond the Call of Duty" award for their outstanding efforts.
