**Bend Fire & Rescue Welcomes Six New Firefighter/Paramedics**

Bend, Oregon – Bend Fire & Rescue recently celebrated the graduation of six new firefighter/paramedics following a rigorous 16-week fire academy. The recruits spent the academy mastering emergency medical response and firefighting techniques specific to Bend Fire & Rescue’s operations.

This milestone graduation marks the start of their roles within the department. The new graduates will now be stationed across Bend, responding to emergency calls while serving on a probationary basis.

This achievement signals the growth of the Bend Fire & Rescue team as they continue their commitment to protecting the Bend community.
