Choirs Bring Holiday Spirit to Downtown Bend

**Elementary Choirs Perform at Downtown Bend Tree Lighting Ceremony**
Elementary school choirs from Bend-La Pine Schools kicked off the season's celebrations with performances at the annual downtown Bend tree lighting ceremony. Two groups, the High Lakes High Notes, directed by Matt Mueller, and the Highland Harmony Choir, directed by Kathy Woodford, showcased their talents during the festive event.
The choirs are made up of 4th and 5th grade students who dedicated additional time for rehearsals at their respective schools to prepare a diverse selection of choral music. The school district expressed pride in its music programs and the commitment of its young singers and directors.
This spirited event marked the beginning of the holiday season for the Bend community.
