The Spartanburg Fire Department's 22nd Annual Open House, originally scheduled for Sunday, October 13, 2024, has been cancelled. This decision was made to allow personnel to focus on recovery efforts following the recent impacts of Hurricane Helene.

In place of the event, the Fire Department is collecting items to help burn victims. A collection trailer will be located in the parking lot of Spartanburg City Fire Station 1 & 4 at 200 Camelot Drive. Local businesses are encouraged to participate; collection boxes and pickup services are available free of charge.
