Austin ISD's Covington Middle School Life Skills students recently attended Morgan’s Wonderland Camp in San Antonio. The camp is designed for special needs children and adults, providing a fully inclusive, sensory-friendly, and wheelchair-accessible environment.

The students, accompanied by their Life Skills Teacher Ms. Franke, enjoyed a 3-day, 2-night camping trip filled with various activities. They participated in swimming, archery, laser tags, net wars, ropes courses, and ziplining.

Such opportunities allow the life skills students to engage in new experiences and most importantly, have fun, highlighting the importance of inclusive education and fostering personal growth.
